This painting is an illustration of the cry of God’s heart to make His people one. There is a place in the Spirit that He longs to take us where His people have moved beyond unity to oneness. The white center figure is Jesus and the branches of colored people represent the different colors of the church, each with its own unique purpose in the body but all essential to functioning in fullness. The road we are on is the highway to holiness. God is refining and drawing us to this place of knowing Him and one another as we finish the race before us. The “stained-glass” effect is symbolic of who this word is given to; His church.
