This painting is an illustration of the long journey we take to reach a place of seeing the promises of God come to fruition in our lives. The road coming from the mountains to the garden is a path that requires surrendered and open hands with God’s promises to us. He is always faithful. His ways are not the same as ours, but He is so worthy of our trust and obedience even when it looks like we are losing what He promised us. He always delivers on His promises and the intimacy that we develop with Him along the long walk of trust is priceless.
