This painting is a prophetic picture of moving in authority vs. power. God is asking us to lay down our contrived strategies of how to "make something happen" and wait on Him. The figure represents surrender, patience and trust, while the fire and smoke from his hands represent worship and intercession. The lifted veil in the landscape represents this place of deep intimacy where God himself bestows authority to carry out His strategies even if they seem contrary to the wisdom of this world. The mountains that are set ablaze in the background represents creation groaning and crying out for the true sons and daughters of the Father to be revealed. God has called you to fulfill a role that ONLY you were designed to do. Get quiet and listen for Him. Take the time to pour out your heart and drink Him in. From this place, you will bring heaven to earth.

$Blackbird The following is the message I heard God speak in regards to this painting. “I see you there. I see you in your frustration and confusion. I see you in your pain. I know it. I am here with you. All of those clouds of doubt and fear, the grief of great loss, lost promises, swirling above your head, it feels like chaos because you cannot control it. That is not your job, you know; to walk around in this life controlling everything to make yourself feel safe. You are not your refuge. I am. Trying to control everything is too great a stress on you and it keeps you fractured. I want to pick up the broken pieces; I can put them back together and make you whole again. Ask Me for this healing. Call to Me and do not doubt My great love for you. When you settle down your frantic search for answers and retribution you will find Me on the way, not in the way. I am present with you right here in the midst of everything you cannot control and I am mighty to save. This is all a walk of trust in Me. This life is a journey of trusting who I am; mighty to save. I am who brings you out of your despair, not your own ‘bootstraps.’ I am the one who pours healing out on your broken heart and bones. I am who sets you right, turns your ashes into beauty and your mourning into joy. I am who your foundation is. It is about trusting Me. Ask Me, just ask. Surrender in faith.
