The Forest & The Trees 24x48
This painting is a prophetic declaration that you are not LOST when in the wilderness. For many, the "wilderness season" carries with it a negative connotation of loneliness or struggle; a punishment, like Israel wandering around suffering because they “screwed up.” The Father is calling us to "look again" with His perspective. It is no longer a place of shame but a place of intimacy and increase. A place God leads every one of His children to heal their wounds and build their faith. The wilderness draws us closer to Him. From this place of intimacy we can let go of unforgiveness and surrender to His irrefutable mark of destiny and purpose on our lives. Jesus came up from the wilderness full of the power of Holy Spirit! He is our example.
The mown trees represent this wilderness season and the obscured path symbolizes our inability to see what is around the next turn but knowing that He is trustworthy creates a boldness to continue down the road. The mountains on fire represent the empowering of Holy Spirit while on the journey and the northern star symbolizes God's words of encouragement and direction which is always present.
