The Key

This painting is an illustration of Luke 10:19 where Christ is addressing His disciples and He says to them, “Behold I have given you authority...” Jesus is saying this as an exhortation to move in the power of Holy Spirit as they tell the whole world of the precious gift of salvation and healing. The figure on the left represents a believer in a position of surrender as he holds out his hand to receive the gift of Holy Spirit who is the key to moving in the authority of our Savior and Father. The bird is an illustration of the Holy Spirit sent to give us all we need to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth.
